Title: A Perfect St. Patrick's Day in Boston
Category: Kids/Family Author: Anne

Where to Eat...

Breakfast

Breakfast at the Cranberry Cafe is delightful. They offer excellent coffee; plus they have these yummy Lucky Charms at the breakfast bar.

Lunch

Cafe Portobello serves delicious Italian food. The restaurant itself is rather small but we were able to get a table before long. The service is good and the atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious.

Dinner

We headed to Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizzeria where they serve mouthwatering Italian food.

What to Do...

Morning

That morning, our whole family attended mass at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Church. The liturgy was very engaging and the music was divine.

Afternoon

After lunch, we headed over to East 4th Street in South Boston to watch the Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was a lot of fun! The floats were very colorful and the music was very entertaining.

Evening

After watching the parade we went all the way to Cashunt to participate in the St. Patty's Dashunt, a 2-hour scavenger hunt that involves a $100 item photo scavenger hunt; an Irish Trivia Hunt; a lucky leprechaun Mystery Hunt; a clover coin bonus round; an Irish treasure hunt; and a video dash. We were divided into groups and had to compete with each other to complete the hunt. We all got T-shirts and a CD of our photos and videos from the game.
