My sister and her boyfriend invited me and my husband for a road trip to Boston Metro. I didn't confirm at first because of my work schedule, but after finding a time we could both travel, we immediately hit the road to Boston.
It's my sister who loves road tripping a lot but after our Boston road trip, I then found out why she is so into road trips. Our first stop was Fenway. What else did we do there but watch a great game? The baseball stadium located at 4 Yawkey Way is a great venue for an exciting baseball game. We occupied seats at the right field box. We're big baseball and Red Sox fanatics, thanks to Babe Ruth. Up until now, we're still rooting for the Red Sox.
After the game, we had a big meal at Canestaro Restaurant & Pizzeria. It won't take you more than 5 minutes to reach the place from Fenway Park. The restaurant, located at 16 Peterborough St., serves great sandwiches and pizza. I tried the Italian sandwich at $7.50. Then we ordered a large Buffalo Pizza at $15.95. The Nantucket Nectars drink is delicious! At only $2.25, you get a smooth orange, apple and cranberry refreshment.
Before we went home, my sister and I requested our men to drop us at Newbury Day Spa. We deserve a nice spa treat after all. My husband and Brandon were not just kind enough to drop us off 8 Newbury Street; they even went inside with us and tried some of the spa services. Now that's cool. I loved the reflexology massage at $49. I also had my nail polish changed.
After some hours at the Spa, we ate at Fire and Ice Grill and Bar. I will definitely order the sirloin again and their alcohol-free specialties.
